Homestead Tours

Genealogy Ireland offers you the chance to visit your ancestral homestead / townland in the company of one of our genealogists. Upon request Genealogy Ireland will arrange a unique tailor made package for you (and your family) to visit your ancestral home. Genealogy Ireland can arrange transport, accommodation and all other requirements during your Tour. Genealogy Ireland will have previously visited and conducted some preliminary research in the area and this will allow you to see the relevant places and people of interest to your ancestry.

Our genealogist will offer expert genealogy advice and will endeavour to provide some local history of the area.

The cost of each Homestead Tour is dependent on time, mileage, preliminary research, etc.

Genealogy Ireland also offers general Guided genealogical tours to places such as The National Library, National Archives, Public Records Office of Northern Ireland, etc or indeed to any location in Ireland.
